Full time Housekeeper, St John's Wood - £50k - £55k GPA

 Highly recommended role Housekeeper to join a beautiful private residence in St John’s Wood, working as part of a friendly and highly professional household team.

The home is elegant, modern and impeccably maintained, with high-end finishes, delicate fabrics, fine furnishings and valuable artwork. Previous experience working in luxury private homes, with a strong understanding of caring for high-quality interiors, is essential.

You will be joining a lovely, welcoming team of staff, including a team of housekeepers, house manager, dog nanny, chef, and security.

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be a good team player, well presented, reliable and happy to support the wider household whenever needed.

Duties include

•            Maintaining the home to an exceptional standard

•            Daily cleaning and general household upkeep

•            Laundry and ironing

•            Wardrobe and household organisation

•            Light food and beverage service

•            Preparing refreshments and assisting with ad hoc requests

•            Ensuring the home is always beautifully presented

•            Basic food preparation

•            Reheating and serving meals when the Chef is off duty

The Principal has three much-loved dogs, so a genuine love of dogs is essential. Sunday duties include feeding and walking the dogs. When the Principal is travelling, the housekeeping team may also assist with additional dog care, including occasional overnight stays on a shared rota. When the Principal is away, working hours are reduced to 8 hours per day.

Days/hours: 45 hours per week, Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Monday

9-hour shifts, reduced to 8 hours when the Principal is away

Start times of either 7:00am or 10:30am

No shifts before 7:00am or after 7:30pm

Salary: £50k - £55k GPA (depending on experience)

Start: ASAP
