A rare opportunity to lead one of the most exclusive new private chalets in Courchevel 1850 for its very first winter season.
Our UHNW private client is seeking a polished, hands-on Chalet Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the chalet, leading a small, highly skilled team and working closely with the wider household staff to ensure every arrival is flawless and every stay runs seamlessly.
The chalet has been finished to an extraordinary standard, with rare and delicate materials that require expert care. The principal and their guests visit intermittently throughout the season, so the chalet must be immaculate and ready at a moment's notice, with service that is discreet, polished and consistently exceptional.
This would suit an experienced Chalet Manager, or a Head Housekeeper with a strong background in a luxury hotel, superyacht or private household.
This is an initial 6-month contract for the winter season, with potential for the right person to move into a long-term, rotational role.
Responsibilities
•            Managing the day-to-day running of the chalet
•            Leading and training the housekeeping team, facilities and chef
•            Setting and maintaining exceptional standards throughout
•            Hands-on housekeeping alongside the team, including expert care of fine and delicate materials
•            Preparing the chalet for arrivals and providing discreet service during visits
•            Arranging guest requirements such as ski passes, transfers and restaurant bookings
•            Managing budgets, petty cash, staff rotas and household stock
•            Coordinating contractors, suppliers and local service providers
•            Maintaining inventories and a record of the principal's and guests' preferences
•            Supporting with entertaining, wardrobe care, packing and unpacking
Requirements
•            Previous experience as a Chalet Manager, House Manager or Head Housekeeper in a similar setting
•            Strong housekeeping background within a luxury hotel, superyacht or UHNW private household
•            Refined, diligent and meticulous
•            Fluent English and conversational or fluent French
•            Full driving licence
•            EU passport
•            Excellent, checkable references
