Domestic Couple – Courchevel & St Tropez, circa €3,000–€4,000 Net PCM Each

Silver & Bow’s private client is looking for an experienced, practical and hands-on domestic couple to take care of two beautiful family properties in Courchevel and St Tropez.
This is very much a hands-on position. The family are looking for a hardworking couple who are happy to roll up their sleeves, take pride in keeping the properties beautifully maintained and ensure everything runs smoothly when the family are in residence.

The couple will be primarily based in Courchevel during the winter season and St Tropez during the summer, with more intense periods when the family is in residence about 2 months of the year in each location, and quieter periods and time off in lieu when the properties are not in use.

Responsibilities will be divided between the couple according to their individual strengths and experience and will include:
•    Full housekeeping and maintaining both properties to a high standard
•    Laundry and ironing
•    Basic breakfast preparation
•    Informal table service and assisting with family meals (there will be a chef to prepare meals) 
•    Driving the family as required
•    General property maintenance and handyman duties
•    Carrying out basic repairs and small maintenance jobs
•    Window and gutter cleaning
•    Overseeing contractors and tradespeople when required
•    Preparing the properties ahead of the family's arrival
•    Ensuring the houses are closed down and left in excellent order following departures
•    Maintaning the houses in excellent state during periods when the family are away
•    
Requirements:
•    Previous experience working as a domestic couple in private households, chalets or similar high end properties
•    Genuinely hands-on and practical approach
•    At least one confident driver; ideally both candidates will drive
•    Good spoken English 
•    Basic/conversational French would be highly advantageous
•    Flexible and willing to work around the family's schedule when they are in residence
•    Discreet, reliable and happy to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team

Accommodation
Courchevel: A separate one-bedroom chalet next to the main property, with its own kitchenette, living room, bathroom and bedroom.
St Tropez: A separate two-bedroom house with its own living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Salary: €3,000–€4000 net per month, per person, depending on experience
