Weekend housekeeper / Cook, London with travel to Oxfordshire - circa £25 gross per hour 

We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Weekend Housekeeper / Cook to join a warm, well-established private household with a main residence in Central London and a property in Oxfordshire.

This is a friendly family with excellent staff retention, looking for someone proactive, highly organised and naturally one step ahead. The role will primarily be based in London, with some travel to Oxfordshire. Travel and accommodation will be covered when working in Oxfordshire.

The role is very hands-on and includes daily cleaning, laundry and preparing simple, family-style meals for two adults and one child, including cooked breakfasts and home-cooked dinners.

The London property has recently been renovated with high-end interiors, delicate finishes and artwork, so excellent attention to detail and understanding of how to care for luxury materials is essential. When the family are away, there will be time to focus on deeper cleaning and resetting the home.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar private household role

  • Strong housekeeping knowledge, including care of delicate materials

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Confident preparing simple family-style meals

  • Happy to travel to Oxfordshire when required

  • Flexible, helpful and service-driven

  • Looking for a long-term weekend position

Days/Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am–4:30pm
Rate: £25 gross per hour
