Live-Out Housekeeper, Upper East Side, New York, $55 gross per hour
Exceptional opportunity for a polished and experienced Housekeeper to join a prestigious private household on Manhattan's Upper East Side. This stunning penthouse serves as the principal's secondary residence, meaning the property is occupied for only a few days each month. The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring the home remains flawlessly presented at all times and be happy to adapt their schedule when the principal is in residence.
This is a wonderful role for someone with experience caring for luxury interiors, valuable artwork, bespoke furnishings, and high-end finishes. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, proactive, discreet, and committed to delivering the highest standards of housekeeping.
Duties will include:
Daily cleaning and meticulous upkeep of the residence
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Household organisation and maintaining immaculate presentation throughout
Monitoring household supplies and inventory
Liaising with contractors and service providers as required
Supporting the House Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the property
You will become part of a welcoming and professional household team, working alongside two Housekeepers and an experienced House Manager. The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, although flexibility is essential during periods when the principal is in residence. Any additional evening or weekend hours will be paid as overtime.
Schedule: Full-time, Live-out | Monday–Friday (with flexibility required)
Salary: Up to $55 per hour, depending on experience
