**Afternoon Governess – Herne Hill, circa £65k-£75k gpa**

Our lovely returning clients are seeking an afternoon Governess to support their two daughters, aged 6 and 10 years old.

The role will involve overseeing homework, supporting the children's academic progress, teaching good manners and etiquette, and assisting with extracurricular activities. The children already have tutors in place, and the eldest is currently preparing for her 11+ so ensuring she stays on track with her studies will be an important part of the role.

The family are looking for someone who can bring learning to life in a fun and engaging way. They would love a Governess who can nurture curiosity, encourage independent thinking, and a love of learning through everyday interactions, experiences and activities.
You will also be responsible for preparing healthy evening meals for the children and helping to ensure their afternoons and evenings run smoothly, from after-school activities through to bedtime.

Whilst not essential, the family would ideally like to find a French-speaking Governess who can naturally incorporate the language into the children's daily lives.

Start: August/September
Schedule: Term Time: Mon-Fri (2pm-7pm) Full time in school holidays (8h per day)
Salary: circa £65k-£75k gpa DOE and previous earnings
