SEN Governor for 9-Year-Old – Notting Hill – circa £35-£45 gph (26 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced SEN Governor/Manny to support a 9-year-old boy with ADHD, helping him stay engaged with homework and prepare for his 11 plus exams. The role requires someone calm, patient, and confident in managing ADHD-related behaviours, with a strong toolkit of strategies to keep him focused, motivated, and progressing with both schoolwork and entrance exam preparation.

He already works with a tutor for specific 11 plus support but needs someone close to him day-to-day to encourage consistency and engagement with his work. He is also very sporty, so an interest in sport would be beneficial in building a strong and positive relationship with him.

The family have 2 other primary aged children who have their own nanny and there are also housekeepers employed so your role is very much focused on the boy.

You may be asked to travel with the family up to 4 weeks per year, including to the USA.

There is somewhat flexibility with hours, ideally you would do 3 mornings 7-9am and afternoons 4-8pm but there is flexibility around this.

Salary: circa £35-£45 gph

Job Ref: SB2422
