Live-in Housekeeper, Kensington £50,000-£55,000 gpa

A lovely family of four is looking for an excellent live-in housekeeper for their beautiful home in Kensington. It's a calm, relaxed and balanced household, with two children and two lovely cats who are very much part of the family, so you'll need to be comfortable with, and ideally fond of, cats. The family entertain occasionally.
You'll be part of a small, kind and close-knit team alongside a full-time nanny and a part-time PA, with a deep cleaner coming in once a month.

Duties include:

• General housekeeping, keeping the home clean and well maintained

• Laundry, ironing and putting away (bed linen is sent out)

• Light cooking

• Helping with school drop-offs and pick-ups

• Booking Ubers and checking the family calendar so everyone is where they need to be

• Restocking household supplies and working through household checklists

• Supporting at weekends, when the family like to cook themselves, by clearing up and putting everything back together after meals and dinners
   

This role would suit an organised, proactive and discreet housekeeper who enjoys variety, takes pride in a well-run home and loves being part of a friendly team. Good English and strong communication skills are important, along with confidence using a smartphone.

You'll have your own bedroom on the lower ground floor, which has its own separate entrance, a bright and spacious living area and a newly renovated kitchen. The shower room and WC are shared with the nanny and PA, and the nanny will use the kitchen during the day.

Days: Thursday–Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Will consider candidates looking for one weekend off per month.
Hours: 50 hours per week, 8:30am–6pm, with flexibility as there are quieter and busier days
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 gpa
Start: ASAP, or within one month's notice
