Housekeeper / Service Assistant – Private Chalet in Megève

We are seeking a reliable, discreet, and proactive Housekeeper/Assistant (live out) to join a small team in a private chalet in Megève, one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the French Alps.

This is a year-round position with variable work hours depending on the chalet's schedule. The role is more intensive during holiday periods and family visits, requiring flexibility and longer hours, and generally quieter during off-peak times, allowing for a lighter routine.

You will be working under the supervision of the chalet management couple, who oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and ensure a smooth, high-standard service environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the chalet to a high standard

• Laundry and ironing

• Assisting with occasional meal prep or table service

• Grocery shopping and errands (driving license a plus)

• Welcoming guests and assisting during their stay

Requirements:

• Proven experience in private households, hospitality, luxury chalets or yachts

• Comfortable in a service based role and being guest facing 

• Fluent English 

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Discretion, trustworthiness, and a professional attitude

• Ability to work independently and under supervision

• Prepared to work long hours when required 

• Driving license preferred

• EU work eligibility or relevant visa
