We are seeking a dynamic, highly competent COO to head up the operations of a well-established Single-Family Office based in Mayfair. As COO, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing various aspects of the Family’s operations, including real estate construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, lifestyle management, HR, IT, and more. The role calls for someone with excellent organisational skills and a proven track record in overseeing multifaceted responsibilities within a high-net-worth family office. You will be responsible for reporting to the CEO and Family Members so being a good communicator who is able to convey complex information clearly is key.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across our Family’s properties in the UK, Europe and further afield.
• Maintain and manage personal properties of the Family in the UK and overseas, including properties in London, residences outside London, and properties in the South of France.
• Review, design, and implement internal policies and processes to support the Family’s lifestyle and day-to-day activities efficiently.
• Support Family members with personal, business, and charitable projects and initiatives in the UK and potentially overseas.
• Prepare budgets and reports for real estate, construction, office, staff, lifestyle, and other expenses, providing them to the CEO, Finance Team, and the Family.
• Design, maintain, and improve internal document workflow processes, including contract negotiation, conclusion, and monitoring.
• Oversee office employees, direct reports, household staff, and drivers, handling recruitment, HR matters, work schedules, evaluations, etc.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity measures, automation, digitalization efforts, and website support.
Requirements:
• Degree educated, ideally Construction, Legal or Business Administration related.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth family office or relevant industry experience.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Technical proficiency in IT systems.
• Familiarity with real estate management practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Occasional overseas travel required.
Days/Hours:
• Full-time position with occasional overtime as necessary.
