Amazing opportunity for a Housekeeper to work at a prestigious private estate in Egham, Surrey, £30K - £32K GPA

Silver & Bow are looking for a housekeeper to join our client’s team at their part-time residence near Egham.
In this newly created position, you will be working alongside a supportive, long-standing estate team, caring for the stunning property and outbuildings to a high standard.
You will report to the head housekeeper and work alongside another full time housekeeper.

As the family are only in residence for approximately 2-3 months of the year in the summer, the majority of the role involves keeping the house and grounds well maintained and ready for use.
When the family are in residence, they will bring a large team of domestic staff with them who will take care of front of house service and any requests from the family.
This allows the permanent team to take a step back and focus on opening and closing the property, dealing with any issues that arise and generally being on hand to assist if needed.

This role would be ideal for candidates looking to transition into private households or looking for an excellent work-life balance with stable, long-term prospects.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for someone with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, to work alongside an established, experienced team in a really well run estate with good processes and procedures.

Duties:
•    All general housekeeping - maintaining internals and externals of the house and its outbuildings.
•    Replenishing and monitoring of stock levels.
•    Maintaining front and back of house areas.
•    Light laundry.
•    Ad hoc valet service.
•    Monitor contractors while onsite.
•    Assisting the wider household team throughout the year e.g external grounds team
•    Report repairs/faults in a timely manner.

Requirements:
•    Good level of spoken and written English
•    Circa 2 years of experience in a 5* hotel or private household
•    Good team player with a proactive, can do attitude
•    Must live within a 40min commute
•    Driving licence useful but not essential, free parking is available

Due to the property’s location it’s an advantage if the candidate can drive (free parking provided). Alternatively, the property is a 12min walk from the nearest train station and there is an hourly bus.

Package:
Salary: £30K - £32K GPA (Annual discretionary bonus after a minimum of 6 months employment paid in December), pension, 28 days of annual leave (increasing every year by 1 day to a maximum 5 days with extended service)
Uniform provided.

Days: 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off (Friday/Saturday off - flexible)
Hours: 8– 4

We are looking for a switched-on, versatile fulltime Chauffeur/Butler for our UHNW client in London.

This role will be based in a beautiful apartment in Mayfair, within a small team of staff. The family already employs one dedicated Driver but are looking for someone to take on a more hybrid position within the household. When not in residence, days will likely be up to 5 days per week and hours will be reduced significantly. Therefore, this role calls for someone flexible and adaptive, but offers a nice work/life balance overall.

  • Driving Principals and family members

  • Assist in the household with butler services when required within the apartment when clients are in residence.
