Housekeeper, Notting Hill – Up to £55k GPA Mon–Fri 9am–5pm

A lovely opportunity for an experienced solo housekeeper to join a warm and friendly family of four in their beautiful Notting Hill home.

This is a true housekeeping role with lots of autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys working under their own steam and takes real pride in managing a home to a high standard. The family are looking for someone with strong initiative who is confident organising their own day, staying on top of all housekeeping duties, running errands, arranging contractors and generally making sure everything relating to the home is taken care of.

The family are lovely, kind and down to earth, and this would suit someone who enjoys becoming a trusted pair of hands within a household. They are often between London and their country home, so there is a good balance of quieter days to get everything in order and busier days when the family are in residence.

The home contains a beautiful collection of antiques, artwork and silverware, so previous experience caring for delicate and valuable items is essential. You should understand the correct products and methods to use and be confident looking after a home with high-quality finishes and furnishings.

There is also a lovely, friendly dog, so you should be comfortable around dogs and happy to lend a hand with his care when needed.

There is a live-in nanny within the household who looks after the children, so this is very much a housekeeping-focused position, reporting to the family and their PA. The family enjoy cooking themselves, so there is no cooking required, occasional meal prep would be helpful.

The property is approximately a 3-minute walk from Notting Hill tube station.
