Housekeeper, St John's Wood, London, Up to £50K

Highly recommended role for an experienced Housekeeper to join a welcoming, professional household in St John's Wood. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, close-knit team, working alongside fellow housekeepers, the House Manager, dog nanny, chef, security, and drivers.
The residence is smart, modern and impeccably maintained, featuring high-end finishes, delicate materials, and valuable artwork. Applicants should have previous experience caring for luxury interiors and be confident using the appropriate cleaning methods and products.

We're looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the highest standards, be self-motivated, and happy to support the wider household wherever needed.

This is a hands-on housekeeping role, with responsibilities including:

  • Daily cleaning to an exceptional standard

  • Laundry and ironing

  • General household upkeep

  • Light food and beverage service

  • Responding promptly and discreetly to the principal's day-to-day requests, whether preparing refreshments, retrieving personal items, or assisting with other ad hoc tasks

  • Maintaining the presentation of the home at all times

The principal travels regularly, creating a pleasant balance of busier and quieter periods. During these times, shifts are reduced to 8 hours per day.
The principal has three much-loved dogs, so a genuine dog lover is essential. On Sundays, duties include feeding the dogs and walking the two house dogs. Occasionally, when the principal is away, the housekeeping team provides additional dog care, including overnight stays on a shared rota.
Basic food preparation skills are also required. On weekends, when the chef is off duty, the housekeepers are responsible for reheating and serving meals pre-prepared by the chef.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper who enjoys working to exceptionally high standards and being part of a professional, friendly, and supportive household.

Working Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday

  • 9-hour shifts (reduced to 8 hours when the principal is away)

  • Shift start times of either 7:00am or 10:30am

  • No shifts before 7:00am or after 7:30pm

  • Live-out preferred, although live-in will be considered for the right candidate.
