Top opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant House Manager to join a world-class private estate in Coconut Grove, Miami! You will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of this prestigious residence, leading the housekeeping team while helping to maintain the highest standards throughout the property.
This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who has progressed from a luxury housekeeping background into a supervisory role. You will oversee a team of four housekeepers within a larger household team that includes security, chefs and additional estate staff. The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring impeccable standards are consistently maintained while supporting the wider management of the household.
The family own multiple residences within the Miami area, and you will occasionally visit these properties to ensure they remain in excellent order, so having your own vehicle is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities
Supporting the Director with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
Supervising, coaching and training a team of four housekeepers
Leading by example with hands-on housekeeping duties whenever required
Conducting regular quality inspections to ensure exceptional housekeeping standards
Overseeing housekeeping schedules, rotas and daily priorities
Maintaining inventories and ensuring household supplies are fully stocked
Ensuring the highest standards of garment care, laundry, fine furnishings, specialty surfaces and household organisation
Liaising with contractors and external suppliers as required
Visiting the family's local Miami properties to ensure they are maintained to the same exceptional standard
Assisting with formal service when the family entertains, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality are delivered
Building positive relationships with the Principal while maintaining discretion, professionalism and excellent presentation at all times
Candidate Requirements
A minimum of 3–5 years' experience within a luxury private residence, estate, luxury hotel or similarly high-end environment
Strong hands-on luxury housekeeping experience with previous supervisory or leadership responsibility
Experience training, mentoring and motivating housekeeping teams
Excellent knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards, including garment care, laundry, fine furnishings, specialty surfaces and household organisation
Formal silver service or private household service experience
A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team wherever needed
Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
Salary: USD $130,000 GPA
