House Manager, Central London, £70,000 – £80,000 GPA, DOE

A highly regarded, independent property management company, trusted by predominantly UHNW clients across Central London and the Home Counties, is seeking an experienced, polished House Manager to join its team and take ownership of a portfolio of exceptional private residences.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who thrives on building trusted relationships and leading from the front. You'll take full responsibility for a portfolio of 5-10 clients, acting as their primary point of contact and the driving force behind the smooth, discreet running of their homes, from day-to-day service delivery through to long-term projects and planning.
You'll work closely with a wider team of maintenance engineers, housekeepers, security personnel and property management colleagues, reporting directly into the Head of Property Management. There's real scope to grow with the company, this role is intended to become an integral part of the Management Team as the business continues to expand.
The Role

  • Lead relationship management for a portfolio of assigned UHNW clients, including monthly reporting and weekly update meetings

  • Manage each property in line with agreed service standards, deploying team resource as needed

  • Lead and supervise on-site service provision, maintenance engineers, housekeepers, security personnel and colleagues

  • Compose and manage planned maintenance schedules and annual property budgets

  • Project-manage reactive, cyclical and ad hoc works, with contractor tendering and detailed client recommendations

  • Oversee homecoming preparations and act as the client's dedicated point of contact during visits

  • Assist with line management, recruitment and HR for household staff as required

  • Support senior leadership with new business proposals and wider growth initiatives

Requirements

  • 4+ years' House Manager experience within a Private Household or Family Office setting

  • Previous experience in a UHNW, client-facing role

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, comfortable working to deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills, well presented, and calm under pressure

  • A proactive, positive attitude with genuine ambition to grow within the role

Schedule: Full time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 GPA + bonus and benefits
