Weekend Housekeeper / Cook, Marylebone – £25 gross per hour

We’re looking for an experienced Weekend Housekeeper / Cook to join a household in central London, not far from Oxford Circus. The home is recently renovated, with high-end interiors, valuable artwork, and delicate finishes, so excellent product knowledge and attention to detail are essential. This role is all about keeping the household running smoothly over the weekend and attending to the needs of the family - turning over bedrooms, running errands as needed, ensuring the dogs are looked after, doing some laundry, keeping the kitchens tidy etc. Cooking beyond breakfast is on occasion includes simple home cooked, family-style meals for up to six people – mostly breakfast, some lunches and dinners, and confident with a Sunday lunch. For larger lunch or dinner parties, a chef is brought in and weekend housekeeper will help with washing up and keeping the spaces tidy. The family are friendly, value a healthy work-life balance, and have two dogs, so the housekeeper must be confident with small dogs.
 
Duties:
•            Maintain the home to a high standard
•            Daily cleaning to an exceptional standard
•            Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
•            Prepare simple, healthy, family-style meals
•            Run errands
•            Pet care duties (feeding/walking)
 
Requirements:
•            Proven private household experience
•            Strong knowledge of cleaning products and care of high-end interiors
•            Confident cook
•            Organised, proactive, and trustworthy
* Not a requirement but our ideal candidate would be willing to travel within the UK on weekends if needed

Days/hours: Saturday & Sunday, 07:30-16:00
Salary: £25 gross per hour (Payroll)
