Live-In Caretaker / Driver, Holland Park, £55k – £65k GPA + Accommodation

A private family based in Holland Park is looking for a Live-In Caretaker/Driver to support the smooth running and security of their newly renovated London residence.

 

This is a hands-on and varied role, working as part of a wider household team alongside a House Manager and housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive and trustworthy with a flexible “muck in” attitude, as the successful candidate will be expected to help wherever required and support the wider household team with a range of day-to-day tasks.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a strong presence at the property, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently when the family is in residence and away. The role will involve overseeing general upkeep, supporting with household tasks, liaising with contractors, and assisting the wider team wherever required.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a reliable presence at the property and ensuring the household remains secure and well maintained

  • Using initiative and good judgement when managing day-to-day matters in the principals’ absence

  • Supporting the household team with practical tasks and general property upkeep

  • Assisting wherever required to ensure the smooth running of the residence

  • Watering plants

  • Coordinating access for contractors and tradespeople and overseeing works when required

  • Driving the family and their guests safely, professionally, and punctually throughout London and as required

 

The ideal candidate will be a capable all-rounder who enjoys a varied role, is comfortable working independently, and is happy to step in and assist wherever needed.

 

Accommodation is provided.

 

Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off

Salary: £55k - £65k GPA
