Part-Time Housekeeper, Milan, 2 days per week (Sunday & Monday) , €25 -€30 gross per hour

A private European family is looking for an experienced, professional Housekeeper to help care for two beautiful residences in Milan. Working two days per week and reporting to the resident House Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout both properties, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms, and communal areas

  • Carrying out daily and deep-cleaning routines using the right products and techniques for each surface and space

  • Laundering, pressing, and caring for household linens, bedding, and garments to a high standard

  • Making and turning down beds to a five-star finish, with full linen changes as required

  • Assisting with front-of-house duties when the family is in residence — table setting, coffee and light refreshment service, and out-serving as needed

  • Working well alongside the wider household and seasonal team during busy periods

  • Keeping both properties organised, restocked, and well-prepared during the family's absence

  • Managing time effectively across two locations and following the agreed schedule and household protocols

  • Presenting yourself professionally at all times

Requirements

  • At least five years of private household experience

  • Conversational and written English or Italian

  • Right to work in Italy

  • A flexible, adaptable approach


Some knowledge of formal or informal table service is a bonus, though full training will be given by the House Manager.

Salary:€25 -€30 gross per hour 
Schedule: 12 hours per day, 2 days per week (Sunday & Monday)
