Afternoon Nanny / Governess – South Kensington – £60,000–£65,000 GPA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00–20:00
Start: ASAP (flexible for candidates with a notice period)

We are delighted to be working with a wonderful family based in South Kensington who are seeking an afternoon nanny/governess to support their three children aged 10, 8, and 4, all of whom attend school locally.

This is a lovely role for an engaging and emotionally intelligent candidate who enjoys building strong relationships with children and supporting their academic and personal development. Your primary focus will be assisting with homework and school projects, coordinating school pick-ups, and working closely with Mum to help organise school bags, schedules, and extracurricular activities.

The family are looking for someone warm, fun, and intuitive, with a high level of emotional intelligence. They value a nanny who understands that after a busy school day the children may sometimes benefit from a chat, some downtime, or a change of pace before settling into homework. A supportive and positive approach will be key.

Mum is keen to find someone who will become a trusted partner in the home, working closely with her to help the children reach their potential within a nurturing, structured, and happy environment.

A housekeeper is employed, so the role is purely childcare-focused, though a proactive and team-oriented attitude would be greatly appreciated.

Schedule:

• Term time: Monday to Friday, 12:00–20:00

• School holidays: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
