Live Out House Manager, Marylebone, £60,000-70,000 GPA



We are looking for a talented, hands-on House Manager to take full ownership of a stunning private residence in central London - not far from Oxford Circus.
This is a role for someone who walks into a room and notices what needs doing before being asked. You'll have a genuine eye for detail, a calm, proactive approach, and the confidence to manage a household team and keep everything running beautifully and serve as the single point of contact for the principals.
You'll be joining a warm family who use their home as both a sanctuary for busy lives as well as entertaining professionally to a high standard. They are expanding their team to find the right long-term candidate that will be involved with every detail of the house and keep it effortlessly well-run.
The family is looking for a leader capable of leading a small household team, managing rotas, recruiting, assessing, training and supporting personal staff in the house, delivering a high standard of service, keeping the house itself maintained to a high standard, designing processes and organising spaces, updating house manuals and maintenance schedules, and handling all day-to-day operations with experienced authority.
 
The Role
•           Full oversight of a large, beautifully appointed London residence
•            Managing and motivating a household team: two rota chefs, two rota nannies two full time housekeepers and 1 weekend housekeeper
•            A hands on approach to ensure the household is run to the highest standard
•            Liaising with all external suppliers, contractors, and the wider household
Recruiting, trialling and training housekeeping staff
Leading on house maintenance, organise repairs and minor renovations
Overseeing wardrobe management and all household purchases
•            Maintaining impeccable standards throughout

Requirements
•            Proven House Manager experience in a comparable private household
•            A natural eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
•            Confident managing staff and holding people to a high standard
•            Calm, grounded, and able to get things sorted on the ground
•            Stable, committed career history, longevity in previous roles is important to this family
•            Dog and child friendly is a must
 
Our ideal candidate is proficient with technology and software such as outlook, excel, Dropbox, word, google docs and other household management apps.

Package
•            Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, flexibility is a must
•            No travel required
•            Salary: £60-70k commensurate on experience
•            Private medical insurance
•            Annual performance based bonus
