Part-Time Housekeeper, Primrose Hill, 20 hours per week

A wonderful opportunity for an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to join a warm, informal and welcoming household in Primrose Hill. You will be part of a small, collaborative team alongside a full-time live-in Housekeeper, a Personal Assistant and a number of external contractors.

This is a chance to play a key part in supporting the family and keeping the home organised, clean and beautifully maintained.

The family has three teenage children who are away at boarding school and university. They are largely independent but will be home some weekends and during school holidays. The household also includes two much-loved cockapoos, so a genuine love of dogs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Daily housekeeping and upkeep of the home to a high standard

Working closely with the principal Housekeeper and wider team to coordinate duties

Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management

Managing dry cleaning collections and returns

Grocery shopping and keeping dry stores and household basics well stocked

Light food preparation, with a focus on healthy meals and snacks as needed

Running errands as requested

Washing the dogs after their walks with the dog walker

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in private households, ideally within large or busy homes

A team player with a flexible, positive and proactive attitude

Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and initiative

Comfortable working around older children and alongside other household staff

Discreet, trustworthy and professional

A genuine dog lover

Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Fluent English

Location: Primrose Hill, London

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am to 1pm (Thursday can be swapped for Tuesday if needed)
