A fantastic opportunity for an experienced housekeeper to take sole care of a stunning, state-of-the-art penthouse in Manhattan. The apartment is a part-time residence for the family, who visit throughout the year.

With the home unoccupied for much of the time, this role suits a proactive, self-motivated housekeeper who takes real pride in keeping a property immaculate and ready for arrivals at short notice. Duties include maintaining the penthouse to an exceptional standard, caring for fine finishes, furnishings and smart home systems, preparing the home ahead of family and guest stays, managing laundry and linen, and liaising with building staff and contractors as needed.

Outside of the family's visits, the role can be live-in or live-out, but living in during their stays is essential, so candidates must be fully comfortable with this. Accommodation is provided within the property. Hours are 40 per week, worked flexibly around the family's schedule when they are in residence.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar UHNW private household, with excellent, checkable references. They will be discreet, trustworthy and reliable, with strong knowledge of caring for delicate materials, and comfortable around pets.

Days/hours: 5 days per week, 2 days off, 40 hours per week.

Salary: $100,000–115,000 gross per annum

Start: ASAP / willing to consider candidates with up to a 1 month notice period
