We are looking for an experienced, polished and engaging Governess to join a private family in Kuwait, with the primary focus on their 7-year-old child. The two older children, aged 11 and 14, are largely independent. This is an educationally focused role, supporting the children's academic, social and personal development. Responsibilities include overseeing homework, managing school correspondence, liaising with teachers, organising extracurricular activities and creating a structured, stimulating daily routine. The family are seeking someone switched on energetic, creative and academically minded, who can encourage independence, good manners and a love of learning. The successful candidate must be professional, immaculately presented and discreet. French speakers particularly welcome.

Kuwait contract tax free £5k per month
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday (5 days per week)
Hours: Approximately 6:30am start, with substantial downtime during school hours (7:30am–2:30pm). Afternoons and evenings focused on school collection, homework and activities. Flexibility required.
Accommodation: Fully furnished private apartment adjacent to the family home
Contract: 1 year

The family will cover the cost of medical insurance.
