Full time Housekeeper, Central Milan - €17 per hour

We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to care for a beautiful private residence in central Milan. This is a lovely full time opportunity to work alongside a friendly household team, and would suit someone with a solid housekeeping background who takes real pride in keeping a home immaculate.

You will clean and reset all rooms, bathrooms and the kitchen so the house is always guest-ready, and carry out scheduled deep cleaning of windows, upholstery, silver and glassware. You will look after all laundry and wardrobe care for the principals, washing, ironing and pressing delicate fabrics, designer pieces and bed and table linen. You will also keep linen and storage cupboards organised and stocked, reorder household supplies, and prepare the house for the principals’ arrivals, departures and guests.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a private household or high-end hospitality, excellent garment-care skills and a discreet, trustworthy approach. Fluent spoken and written English is essential, and Italian is an advantage. You will need to be based in or near Milan, able to work in Italy on a self-employed or agency contractor basis, and have excellent checkable references.

Days/hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate: €17 per hour, paid over 13 months, with 25 days’ paid holiday
