Full-Time Private Chef , Dorset, £57k gpa + Accommodation
Working Thursday to Sunday - 3 days off per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate private chef to join a welcoming family household in the beautiful Dorset countryside.
This is a full-time role based in a family home, catering primarily to the main principals. Their grown-up children, extended family, and guests visit from time to time, so flexibility and ease in catering for varying numbers is important. This position would suit someone highly organised, calm under pressure and looking for a long term role. You will liaise closely with the principals, the family PA and other team members so a positive, collaborative approach and a good team spirit are key qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner each working day (approx. 8:00am start – 9:30pm finish)
• Plan menus with a strong emphasis on local, organic, and seasonal produce
• Utilise the estate’s large kitchen garden and work closely with the gardening team to source fresh ingredients
• Maintain excellent stock control, pantry management, and ensure the fridges are always well stocked
• Work independently while maintaining a professional, discreet, and flexible approach

• Highly organised, punctual, and confident working autonomously
• Creative and passionate about seasonal cooking and sustainability
• Calm, adaptable, and discreet, with experience in private households
• Looking for a long-term, stable position in a beautiful rural location
Working Days: Thursday to Sunday (Monday–Wednesday off)
Start date: Interviewing now, aiming for end of Sept start date
Salary & Accommodation: circa £57k gpa + 3 bedroom house with private garden, 1 mile from the estate
