AI Analyst for Private Investment Firm, London, salary dependent on experience

An entrepreneurial investor with a broad portfolio of over 50 companies and philanthropic programmes, is seeking an AI savvy Business Analyst for a key position. The role centres around analysing emerging trends, leveraging AI tools for commercial advantage, and helping to shape future business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Research global trends, emerging technologies, and sector developments to identify opportunities.
•    Evaluate the use of AI tools to improve business performance and decision-making.
•    Analyse businesses within the investment portfolio to assess growth potential and impact.
•    Work closely with the Principal to turn high-level vision into practical, actionable steps.
•    Support social impact initiatives, particularly in India, focused on helping underserved communities.
•    Occasional travel with the Principal 

Candidate Profile:
•    Degree-educated, ideally in business, economics, or a related field.
•    Background in business analysis with exposure to commercial operations.
•    Strong interest in AI and emerging technologies; hands-on experience with AI tools (no coding required).
•    Quick learner with an entrepreneurial mindset; ideally from a business-oriented or entrepreneurial family background.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work closely with and influence senior stakeholders.
•    Motivated by purpose-led work, social impact, and innovation.

Salary: ~£100K GPA + benefits
Location: London, occasional travel
