TEMP HOUSEKEEPER, 30th December to 30th January, Notting Hill

We’re looking for an experienced temporary housekeeper to support a lovely, informal family at their traditional townhouse in Notting Hill over the January period.

This is a sole housekeeper role, working closely with the family’s PA, as well as a part-time cleaner, gardeners, and a dog walker who visits twice a week.

Day-to-day duties include high-standard cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Cooking would be a bonus — the family enjoys healthy, light meals such as grilled fish/meat with vegetables and fresh fruit, and they’re happy to provide recipes and guidance (no serving required).

You should have strong experience in private homes and be confident using eco-friendly products, with excellent knowledge of caring for luxury surfaces and materials such as marble, wood, and fine fabrics.

The family has 4 lovely dogs and a cat, who are an important part of the home, so you must be comfortable around them and happy to help with walks when needed.

There will be a handover with the current housekeeper before you start to ensure a smooth transition. The PA will be on-site two days a week, but you should be able to work independently and to a high standard. A good level of spoken English and availability for the full booking are essential.

Dates: 30th December to 30th January

Days/hours: 45-50 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm/6pm

Salary: £20- £25 gross per hour
