Live in Domestic Couple, East Sussex, £38k - £43k gpa per person (depending on experience)

Silver and Bow is working with a lovely client to find a switched on, professional Live in Domestic Couple for their property in East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent couple who are looking to find their next long term position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property to a high standard and ensuring it is ready for the family’s next visit. The property is only used at the weekends and so you must be willing to work Saturday and Sunday however you will work fewer hours during the week. During the school holidays the property will be used during the week, and you will not be required to work weekends.

It is essential to be child and pet friendly as the family have 3 children, 3 dogs and a cat. Even though there are no childcare duties associated to the role, the family are looking for someone warm, family friendly and happy to interact with the children. They also employ a part time cleaner.

Duties:

All general housekeeping

Laundry & Ironing

Family style cooking

Driving for the family

General maintenance

Overseeing the house when the family are away

Requirements:

•              Previous experience working in a similar environment

•              You will be able to work independently when the principals are not in residence, seeing what needs to be done; and manage duties efficiently when the family is in residence

•              Pet and child friendly

•              Professional and presentable

•              Excellent communication skills

•              Proactive and well organised

•              Valid and clean UK driving license (at least one of the couple must drive)

Accommodation: 2 bedroom maisonette with private entrance (at ground level) living room/kitchen, storeroom, utility and toilet on ground floor and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.

Days: 5 days per week (including weekends)

Salary: £38k - £43k gpa per person (depending on experience)
